The Multiple Variations of Women's Liberation in the Chinese Revolution——On the Methodological Significance of Women/gender Research
Since the establishment of the People's Republic of China,research on women's liberation in the Chinese revolution has had different perspectives,methods,and value orientations,including liberation theory,instrumental theory,subjectivity theory,and interaction theory,showing phased characteristics and ideological trends.Cong Xiaoping's recent research reinterprets a historical event related to women's liberation in Huachi County,Longdong Prefecture,Gansu Province from the perspectives of Chinese revolution and construction,state power and policy mechanisms,legal system and judicial practice,cultural changes and gender concepts.Through tracing the history of women's liberation,we can understand China and the world.This not only provides new ideas for us to understand the social revolution and women's liberation in China in the 20th century,but also provides interdisciplinary historical interpretation and writing paradigms from the perspective of research methods.
