Food Security as a Global Issue:International Cooperation,Communication,and China's Practice
The series of concepts related to food security have developed into a relatively complete discourse system,with rich theoretical connotations and significant practical significance,providing a Chinese solution for countries to jointly address the global challenge of food security.Research has found that the issue of food security in China presents a characteristic of"people first,development first,cooperation first,and shared destiny"in its external dissemination.Global food security cooperation,as a presentation model of behavior or organizations on a global scale with countries as the main body,inevitably requires political interaction among diverse entities within corresponding specific frameworks.With the advent of the media era,its policy formulation and implementation are increasingly influenced and constrained by individual public opinion.Key opinion leaders can even serve as a supplement to external communication at the national level,forming a comprehensive,multi-dimensional,and three-dimensional external communication system.We must tell the story of China's maintenance of food security and active participation in global international agricultural cooperation,attach importance to the position and role of agricultural diplomacy in China's distinctive diplomacy,demonstrate the common values of all mankind through food security issues,and enhance the national image and discourse power through strategic and systematic organizational communication.In the future,attention should be paid to the influence of the intertwined discourse of the head of state's diplomatic discourse,official media coverage discourse,and individual participant discourse in agricultural diplomacy on the construction of discourse in China's external dissemination of food security issues.
