Historical evolution,connotations and measurement of high-quality development of China's export trade under the new development philosophy
The role and significance of export trade vary across different stages of a country's economic development,with its inherent characteristics evolving over time.This paper reviews and summarizes the historical logic and intrinsic features of the quality of China's export trade.Under the new development paradigm,it establishes an evaluation framework based on five dimensions:innovation,coordination,green development,openness,and shared benefits.Using the entropy method,the study assesses the high-quality development of China's export trade from 2011 to 2022.The findings reveal a fluctuating upward trend in both the scale and quality of China's export trade,with a notable acceleration in growth after 2018.Innovation-driven exports,coordinated exports,and shared-benefit exports are identified as the key drivers of high-quality export trade.Rapid improvements in innovation support and efficiency serve as a strong foundation for innovation-driven exports,while adjustments in industrial structure and trade patterns can significantly enhance coordinated exports.Additionally,improved trade conditions are crucial for the advancement of shared-benefit exports.
