As an important driving force to promote the high-quality development of enterprises,digital transformation is a concrete manifestation of the deep integration of the real economy and the digital economy,and it is the only way to achieve Chinese modernization.It is important to explore the relationship between digital transformation and high-quality development of sports industry in China.This paper takes the Shanghai-Shenzhen A-share"sports+"listed companies from 2009 to 2022 as the research object,and analyzes the influence and mechanism of digital transformation on the high-quality development of"sports+"listed companies.The results showed that:(1)Digital transformation plays a significant role in promoting the high-quality development of"sports+"listed companies;(2)Digital transformation can help"sports+"listed companies achieve high-quality development in terms of enhancing enterprise innovation ability,easing financing constraints,improving operational capacity,and reducing financial risks;(3)Digital transformation has different effects on the high-quality development of"sports+"listed companies in terms of region,property nature and industry,namely,western＞eastern＞central,non-state-owned enterprises＞state-owned enterprises,service industry＞manufacturing industry.It is suggested that sports enterprises should grasp the opportunities of digital transformation,implement digital transformation strategies,formulate relevant strategies according to regions,property rights nature and industry differences,promote digital transformation,and promote the high-quality development of"sports+"listed companies.
