Digital Transformation and New Quality Productivity of Enterprises:Theoretical Mechanism and Empirical Test
Digital transformation can accelerate efficiency change,ability change,direction change and power change,which is of far-reaching significance for the formation and development of new quality productivity.This paper is based on the data of China's A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2022 to empirically analyze the impact and mechanism of digital transformation on new quality productivity of enterprises.The study results go as below:Digital transformation can significantly promote the de-velopment of new quality productivity of enterprises,and this conclusion is still valid after multiple robustness tests.The efficiency of resource allocation is an important transmission mechanism of digital transformation affecting the new quality productivity of en-terprises.Digital transformation can improve the efficiency of capital and labor allocation,thereby promoting the development of new quality productivity of enterprises.The vitality of the innovation market plays a moderating role in the process of digital trans-formation affecting the new quality productivity of enterprises.The higher the vitality of the innovation market,the stronger the promotion effect of digital transformation on the new quality productivity of enterprises.The effect of digital transformation on the new quality productivity of enterprises has obvious heterogeneity.Compared with low-growth enterprises,low-tech industrial en-terprises,enterprises in the central and western regions and resource-based regions,digital transformation has a more significant positive impact on the new quality productivity of high-growth enterprises,high-tech industrial enterprises,enterprises in the eastern region and non-resource-based regions.
