回鹘文《玄奘传》中的音译型佛教术语考释举隅

摘要
回鹘文《玄奘传》对于研究中古时期回鹘佛教文献语言的面貌有很大的价值.以汉文本《大唐大慈恩寺三藏法师传》为底本,与回鹘文译文相对照,从翻译方法的角度,遴选出一些音译型佛教术语,尝试分析这些术语的汉语原文、回鹘文拉丁字母转写、词源、释义及语音对应情况,借助这些语料尝试分析回鹘语梵语借词的对音规律.从语言接触的角度看,音译型佛教术语是回鹘与周围各民族以语言为载体进行文化交流、交融的重要体现,是回鹘多元文化形成与发展的历史见证.
Abstract
The Xuanzang Biography in Uyghur script has great value in studying the language of Uyghur Buddhist literature in Middle Ages.Based on the Chinese text"Biography of the Three Tibetan Masters of the Great Tang Dynasty's Great Ci'en Temple"and compared with the translation in Uyghur lan-guage,this work selects some transliterated Buddhist terms from the perspective of translation methods,and attempts to analyze the Chinese original text,Latin alphabet transcription in Uyghur language,ety-mology,interpretation,and phonetic correspondence of these transliterated Buddhist terms.With the help of this corpus,we are trying to analyze the phonetic correspondence rules of words with different ety-mologies when transliterated into Uyghur language.From the perspective of language contact,transliterat-ed Buddhist terminology is an important manifestation of cultural exchange and integration between the Uyghurs and surrounding ethnic groups using language as a carrier,which is a historical witness to the formation and development of the diverse culture of the Uyghurs.
