摘要
石窟断代研究一直是石窟研究者必备基本功之一,石窟断代问题也一直是最难的学术问题.尤其是敦煌晚期西夏石窟,因西夏史书及古迹遗存损毁严重,文物资料有限,更是难中之难.有学者依据壁画题记和文献记载断代,有学者依据绘画风格,有学者综合题记、文献和绘画风格特点,对西夏石窟进行断代,各有所得,现已形成三大观点,各执一端,高下难定.对各家论证进行述评,意在拓思探径.瓜沙二州的战略功能、民俗民风、言语、地理条件和音译地名,以及"洞窟美术馆"所具有的窗口展示功能等,都可纳入研究视野,作为他山之石,引发新见.
Abstract
The study of the chronological grottoes is one of the essential basic skills for their researchers,which is one of the most difficult issues,and which has always been highly attracting by scholars.In par-ticular,the grottoes of the Western Xia Regime in the late period of Dunhuang,is the case study,beacuse of limited cultural relics,severely damaging of the historical sites and relics,and historical records as well,that leads to make it difficult to sudy.Some scholars have been studying and dating back the West-ern Xia Grottoes chronologically,based on the mural inscriptions and literature records,others based on the painting styles,and a combination of inscriptions,literature review,and the style clues of the paint-ing,among which three major viewpoints have been emerging,with their own interpretation and descrip-tion,thus difficulty to determine their superiorities.The paper aims to explore a new perspectives by means of commenting on various arguments of the rescholars,in order to expand and discover the new ways to the study of Dunhuang grottoes chronological-ly,centering on the Western Xia Regime,an example of which is that of the Two Prefectures Guasha,such as the strategic,traffic functions,Folk customs and traditions,spoken language,geographic environ-ment,transliteration of the names of places,the Cave Art Museum of the Silk Road by displaying their functions,and incorporating into research perspectives by means of the stones from other mountains,used to attack jade,and triggering new trend insights for scholars to study the grottoes of the Western Xia Regime in the late period of Dunhuang.
