With the investment in water conservancy has increased significantly and investment and financing policies have been implemented one after another,water diversion and wading projects have gradually increased.As an important water blocking structure in wading projects,cofferdams have become more and more widely used in engineering.Locking steel pipe piles are connected with adjacent nodes by applying welding locks to form a pile enclosure structure,which has the advantages of quick construction,high installation efficiency,cross-sectional strength,high rigidity,and recyclability.It is used in deep foundation pit support is often used.In the current research,there are few discussions on the mechanical and technical advantages of the locking pile retaining structure,and there is a lack of research on optimal design methods.This paper systematically summarizes the applicable scenarios and construction methods of different cofferdam types,and takes the actual cofferdam project as an example to introduce the design method of the cable tower super large deep foundation pit cofferdam in detail,whose purpose is to provide a theoretical reference for the future design of the C-O type locking steel piles.
