Research on Anticorrosion Performance of Fixed Thin Steeltruss for Photovoltaic Energy at Offshore Area
The corrosion situation of thin steel structure with 4-6 mm is investigated by means of hot saltwater test and salt fog test.Specifically the anticorrosion performance of sand blasted steel sheet, galvanized steel sheet, coated galvanized steel sheet and coated steel sheet is comparatively analyzed.Meanwhile, the field test at offshore area is carried out to study anticorrosion solutions. The results show that the sand blasted steel sheet and galvanized steel sheet are corroded after salt fog test for 900 h and hot saltwater test for 920 h while no corrosion occurred on the surface of the coated galvanized steel sheet and coated steel sheet. The welding operation might broke the galvanied layer on the surface of steeltruss wherein the borken area is not easy to be repaired. The uncoated area of the coated steel sheet can be prepared for welding operation and can be recoated after welding process. It is concluded that the coating process is recommended for thin steeltruss for photovoltaic energy at offshore area.
