Research Progress in Methods to Improve Aging Resistance of Epoxy Resin Coatings on Hydraulic Concrete Surfaces in Alpine Cold and High Altitude Regions
Hydraulic concrete in alpine cold and high-altitude areas is subject to severe service environments such as freeze-thaw cycles and ultraviolet irradiation, and is prone to material aging and even structural failure.Epoxy resin coating is a typically used technology to improve the durability and safety of concrete, but it also faces the risk of insufficient aging resistance and early failure under severe conditions. This paper focuses on the current status of research on the aging resistance of epoxy resin coatings in alpine cold and high altitude regions, summarizes the methods to improve the aging resistance of epoxy resin, and analyzes the characteristics and shortcomings of the typically used methods, such as the addition of aging-resistant additives, organosilicon modification and nanoparticle modification. This paper can provide a reference for the subsequent research and development of high-performance and high-durability epoxy resin coatings in alpine cold and high-altitude environments.
