A kind of fast-drying 2K high solid basecoat with low VOC emission for ACE(agricultural & construction & equipment)is prepared by using ACR6736A(solid cotent 70％)hydroxyl acrylic resin as main resin combined with ACR6851A(solid content 80％)hydroxyl acrylic resin.The film properties are investigated and the experimental result shows that it still can maintain low VOC emission and long pot-life even if the coating is cured fastly.The VOC content of the coating is 404 g/L at a viscosity of 22 s(25 ℃,Tu-4 cup),which can satisfy the national standard limit(≤420 g/L)of ACE coating.Besides,it is an eco-friendly and high effective coating which contains no organic tin catalyst.Furthermore,it exhibits excellent comprehensive performance,such as fast-drying rate and hardness development,good appearance,anti-sagging,stability and weather resistance properties.
