Investigation on contamination of Yersinia enterocolitica in intensive dairy farms in Aksu
Yersinia enterocolitica,a psychrotrophic bacteria and food-borne pathogen, has the ability to survive in low temperature, low oxygen environments, and infect both humans and various. This study aimed to investigate the contamination of Yersinia enterocolitica in the small intestine within intensive dairy farms in Aksu.A total of 240 samples including cow feces, raw milk, forage grass, milking equipment, and environmental samples were collected from these dairy farms in Aksu during 2022.Yersinia enterocolitica was isolated and identified through morphological observation, biochemical identification and molecular biology techniques. The results revealed the isolation of 23 strains of Yersina enterocolitica across three different counties and cities, with a separation rate of approximately 9%that was consistent across the various areas investigated. The findings of this study can serve as a theoretical basis and provide valuable reference for the prevention and eradication of Yersinia enterocolitica in intensive dairy farms in Aksu.
