Speed and Distance Measurement System of Train Control Onboard Equipment Based on Head and Tail Redundancy
The main task of the speed and distance measurement system is to provide real-time speed and displacement information to the train control system.Common speed and distance measurement systems mainly use the integration of multiple sensors(such as speed sensors, radar sensors,accelerometers,satellites,etc.).This paper proposes a design scheme for a redundant speed and distance measurement system based on the integration of multiple sensors from a system perspective. It can effectively reduce the faults of the speed and distance measurement system caused by single point faults, and avoid signaling system faults caused by faults of the speed and distance measurement system,so as to realize the safety redundancy of speed and distance measurement systems in head and tail of the train.
