There exists a gap between train door and platform door when rail transit train is running in platform area or stopping in the station,several cases that passengers got trapped in the gap which caused casualties and operation interruption had happened in operation,this kind of cases could seriously affect operation efficiency and bring negative social impact.Gap detection becomes to be especially important.Gap detection system can effectively detect the obstacles in the gap,and send the detection results to signaling system through system interface,which would be used in controlling train operation.This paper discusses the system interfaces of signaling system,platform door system and gap detection system,and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of each method,and finally selects the interface mode that can ensure the reliable and safe realization of gap detection function and ensure the safety of passengers in the whole process of train departure to starting signal.
