The construction of interoperability within the urban(suburban)rail transit network and the realization of cross line intermodal transportation is an important means of efficient and convenient travel within city cluster, metropolitan area, and between cities. The construction of cross line intermodal transportation and network operation requires the consideration of the construction mode of top-level scheduling system. This paper combines the requirements of the top-level scheduling system and application cases in China and other countries,to analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the three-layer architecture and two-layer architecture, and provides reference for the construction of the top-level scheduling system for urban(suburban)rail transit.
