Effects of Digital Transformation on Enterprise Performance:An Empirical Study Based on China's GEM Manufacturing Enterprises
Based on the sample of manufacturing enterprises on the ChiNext board from 2013 to 2019,the paper constructs variables for digital transformation of enterprises and explores the impact of digital transformation on enterprise performance.Empirical research shows that:Firstly,digital transformation can significantly promote the improvement of enterprise performance.Secondly,industry concentration weakens the impact of digital transformation on corporate performance.Thirdly,digital transformation enhances the dynamic capabilities and technology intensity of enterprises,thereby improving their performance level.Based on this,the following policy recommendations are proposed:on the one hand,relevant government departments should further optimize and improve the institutional environment;on the other hand,manufacturing enterprises should focus on cultivating dynamic capabilities,enhancing technology intensity,and increasing the cultivation of digital talents.
