Research on the Development Level and Spatial Distribution Pattern of Health and Wellness Tourism in Anhui Province
Health and wellness tourism is a key measure to implement the Healthy China strategy and an important lever for implementing the rural revitalization strategy.Taking 2012-2021 as the time window,we constructed a measurement system of Anhui Province Recreation and Culture Tourism Development Index from five dimensions,namely,resource and environmental carrying capacity,infrastructure construction level,industrialization development level,innovation development potential,and tourism investment level,and utilized entropy weight TOPSIS and GIS spatial analysis to portray the level of development of Anhui Province Recreation and Culture Tourism and the pattern of spatial distribution of its internal subsystems.The results were shown as follows:the development level of health and wellness tourism in Anhui Province fluctuated and increased,with internal differences gradually narrowing;The overall presentation of Hefei City,Chizhou City and Huangshan City as the core of the"three-legged tripod"type of spatial distribution pattern.The development level of health tourism in southern and central Anhui is higher than that in northern Anhui;There are significant internal differences in the development of health and wellness tourism in various cities,with prominent issues of resource and environmental protection.The overall development of health and wellness tourism in southern Anhui is relatively good,while the development of health and wellness tourism in the provincial capital Hefei is relatively balanced.Finally,measures are proposed to promote the high-quality development of health and wellness tourism in Anhui Province,including resource and environmental protection,and the creation of health and wellness brands.
