Review and Prospect of Researches on Anti-Buoyancy Technology for Underground Structures in Water-Rich Stratum
With the continuous increase of underground engineering,the uplift failure of underground structures is becoming more and more prominent.The research on anti-buoyancy technology for underground structures is increasing rapidly.In this paper,the recent research on the upward floating failure mode,buoyancy force calculation and anti-buoyance control technology are summarized.The upward floating failure modes include local upward floating failure,whole-in-local upward floating failure and whole upward floating failure.The upward floating failure is mainly occurred during construction period.The buoyancy force of underground structure in sand is almost equivalent to the calculated value by Archimedes law,while the discrepancy is existed in clay on the basis of test researches.The emphasis was placed on passive anti-buoyancy measure previously,while more emphasis is placed on active anti-buoyancy measure now.And from the analysis,it can be seen that the following problems are still existed,insufficient emphasis on anti-buoyance control during construction,inaccurate testing on buoyancy force,in consistent determination of anti-buoyance design water level and the durability and effectiveness of anti-buoyance measures are difficult to guarantee.On this basis,the directions of future research for how to control anti-buoyance during construction period,innovating buoyance force testing device and the key points of anti-buoyance design are proposed.
