Research on Practical Pathways for Training Professional Talent in Social Work Major Based on Service Learning Theory:A Case Study of Tongling University
The application of service learning theory in the practice of social work majors is beneficial for students to shape their professional values and expand their professional skills.By examining the service learning practices in talent cultivation for the social work major at Tongling University,it is found that while service learning serves as a fundamental orientation for instilling the concept of helping others and provides immersive project experiences to nurture students,there are also challenges such as lack of standardization,insufficient continuity of service,and significant cognitive differentiation.This article proposes a service learning pathway for the cultivation of professional talents in social work,focusing on the standardization of service learning,digital empowerment to expand the scope of service,and the collaborative creation of a learning community by diverse stakeholders.
