Based on the perspective of interculturality,this article analyzes the diverse manifestations and complex mechanisms of"goodness"in intercultural communication.Through the interpretation of the concept of goodness in Chinese and Western cultures in terms of its part of speech,meaning,philosophical ideas,and contemporary goodness,it is revealed that"goodness"provides a profound theoretical empathy foundation for bridging the gap between self and the other in terms of thoughts and emotional contact.Using empathy,this study examines the effective transmission strategies of"Chinese goodness",and further proposes intercultural communication paths for goodness,as the path of empathetic goodness that triggers mutual recognition and the empathetic path of goodness in intercultural communication.
