With the development of the society and the environmental problems becoming more and more prominent,the new situation puts forward higher requirements for the education and teaching of environmental engineering majors in Anhui provincial universities.This paper analyzed the current situation of environmental engineering majors education and teaching in Anhui provincial universities,and pointed out the problems of outdated curriculum content,single teaching method,insufficient practical teaching,introduction of talents and teachers'assessment.Combined with the demand for talents and the development trend of education under the new situation,a series of targeted reform measures were discussed,including public basic course teaching,professional course teaching,professional training program,introduction of talents and teachers to serve the community and other reform measures.
