Research on the Influence of Pilot Free Trade Zone on the Technical Complexity of Urban Export
The article takes 267 prefecture level cities from 2006 to 2018 as samples and uses the double difference method to study the impact of Pilot Free Trade Zone on the complexity of urban export technology.The results show that the complexity of export technology has significantly increased in cities with Pilot Free Trade Zone,and remains stable after parallel trends and placebo tests.Mechanism testing has found that Pilot Free Trade Zone enhances the technological complexity of urban exports through human capital effects and technological innovation effects.Heterogeneity analysis shows that this driving effect has a more significant impact on the eastern region and small and medium-sized cities.The article plays an important role in exploring the effects of Pilot Free Trade Zone,enhancing the technological complexity of urban exports,and promoting high-quality trade development.
