Prevention and Control Practice of Low Oxygen in Shallow Buried Fully Mechanized Caving Face Based on Pressure Balancing Ventilation System
In order to solve the problem of carbon monoxide gas overrun and low oxygen concentration in the return air corner and working face of 13108 fully mechanized caving face in Shanxi Hequ Jinshen Ciyaogou Coal Mine, the debugging test of pressure equalization ventilation system in the working face was carried out,and the wind pressure in the working face was slightly higher than that in the overlying goaf,so that the harmful gas in the goaf into the return air corner and the working face was reduced. The results show that the operation of one FBDNO.8.0 local fan with double motors and two FBDNO.8.0 local fans with single motors can not only meet the air volume of the working face(1 618 m3/min),but also minimize the positive pressure difference between the working face and the overlying goaf. After the start of the pressure equalization ventilation system, the carbon monoxide and oxygen volume fraction in the 13108 fully mechanized caving face and the return air corner can be reduced to the range specified in the'Coal Mine Safety Regulations',which effectively solves the problem of gas overrun in the working face and the return air corner and ensures the safe production of the working face.
