Objective To explore the effect of laser combined with compound Xueshuantong capsule on diabetic reti-nopathy complicated with macular edema.Methods A total of 100 patients with diabetic retinopathy combined with macular edema who were admitted to the Department of Ophthalmology of the 940th Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into two groups,with 50 cases in each group on the basis of the control group.The control group was treated with laser,and the observation group was treated with compound Xueshuantong capsule on the basis of the control group.The coagulation funtion indexes,macular thickness,visual acuity and inflammatory indexes were compared between the two groups.Results The activated partial thromboplastin time,thrombin time and prothrombin time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the fibrinogen level was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The macular thick-ness of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the visual acuity level was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The levels of inflammatory indica-tors in the observation group were better than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with diabetic retinopathy complicated with macular edema can be treated with a vari-ety of methods.Laser combined with compound Xueshuantong capsule can effectively improve the macular thickness of patients,adjust their visual acuity level,and reduce the level of body inflammation in patients.
