Objective To analyze the clinical effect of Chaiqin Wendan decoction plus reduction in treating patients with phlegm-heat stasis type diabetic gastroparesis.Methods A total of 90 patients with phlegm-heat stasis diabetic gastroparesis treated in Fuzhou Changle District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2021 to Decem-ber 2022 were selected as the study subjects,and the patients were divided into control group and study group accord-ing to the order of admission time,with 45 cases in each group.The control group was treated with domperidone tab-lets,and the study group added Chaiqinwendan Decoction for treatment.The traditional chinese medicine syndrome score,clinical efficacy,blood glucose level,gastrointestinal function,gastric empting time and gastric empting rate were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the control group,the study group after treatment had lower scores of traditional chinese medicine syndrome,higher clinical efficacy,lower levels of blood glucose indexes,higher levels of gastrin and motilin,lower levels of cholecystokinin,shorter gastric emptying time and greater gastric emptying rate,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of the application of Chaiqin Wendan decoction on the basis of conventional Western medicine treatment in patients with phlegm-heat sta-sis type diabetes mellitus gastroparesis is more accurate,which can not only alleviate the symptoms of the patients,im-prove the patients'blood glucose level and gastrointestinal function,but also shorten the time of gastric emptying,and increase the rate of gastric emptying.
