Objective To analyze the effect of Shenqi Maiwei Dihuang Decoction on type 2 diabetes and its influence on blood lipid metabolism.Methods A total of 50 patients with type 2 diabetes who were admitted to Liyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into two groups,with 25 cases in each group.The control group re-ceived conventional treatment,and the observation group received conventional treatment combined with Shenqi Mai-wei Dihuang decoction.The TCM syndrome score,clinical efficacy,blood glucose and lipid metabolism levels were compared between the two groups.Results The TCM syndrome score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);compared with the control group,the total effective rate(96.00%)of the observation group was higher,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.357,P<0.05);compared with control group,the levels of fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and gly-cosylated hemoglobin A1c in the observation group were lower,and the levels of fasting C-peptide and 2-hour post-prandial C-peptide were higher,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The high density lipo-protein cholesterol in the observation group was higher,and the total cholesterol,triglyceride and low density lipopro-tein cholesterol were lower,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus,the Shenqi Maiwei Dihuang Decoction is helpful to improve clinical symptoms,reduce blood glucose and regulate lipid metabolism,and improve clinical efficacy.
