Objective To explore the clinical effect of urine Duqing granule combined with valsartan capsule in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy patients with massive proteinuria.Methods 64 patients with diabetic nephropathy between 108 to 265 μmol/L with blood creatinine admitted to the department of nephrology of Xuyi County People's Hospital of Jiangsu Province from May 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into control group and study group according to com-toss methods,all treated with the conventional hypoglycemic drug metformin,in the control group(n=32)were treated with sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitor,and in the study group(n=32)were treated with valsartan and urine Duqing granule.After 30 d of consecutive treatment,the treatment effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total response rate of the study group was 93.75%,which was higher than 71.88%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.379,P<0.05).The levels of 24 h urine trace protein,24 h urine protein quantification,blood creatinine and blood urea nitrogen were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05);fasting fasting glu-cose and 2-hour postprandial glucose levels of the study group were lower than those of the control group,and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of urine Duqing granule and valsar-tan capsule can improve the indexes of proteinuria and renal function in diabetic nephropathy,improve the effective-ness of clinical treatment,and ensure the ideal curative effect of patients after medication.
