Study on the Application Effect of Acceptance Commitment Concept Nurs-ing Model in the Self-management Ability of Newly Diagnosed Type 2 Dia-betes Mellitus Patients
Objective To explore the effect of acceptance commitment concept nursing model on self-management ability of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Methods A total of 80 hospitalized patients newly diag-nosed with type 2 diabetes in Jilin City People's Hospital from January to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into control group and study group by means of objective sampling method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing;the study group adopted a nursing intervention guided by the concept of acceptance commitment.Self-care behavior and glucose metabolism indexes were compared between the two groups of patients. Results After intervention, the self-care behavior of the study group was signifi-cantly better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2 hPG),glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c)were(7.19±1.60)mmol/L,(9.39±1.77)mmol/L and(8.10±1.48)%,respectively,which were significantly better than those of the control group, and the difference was statistical significance(all P<0.05).Conclusion Acceptance commitment concept nursing model can effectively improve the self-care behavior of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus patients, improve blood glucose level, improve patients'self-management ability, and ultimately improve the quality of life of diabetes mellitus patients.
