Objective To analyze the effect of systematic nursing intervention on postoperative incision healing in pa-tients with colorectal cancer combined with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods 100 patients with colorectal cancer combined with type 2 diabetes admitted to the Department of Surgery of Huangdao District Hospital,Qingdao City,Shandong Province,from January 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects,and they were divided into the control group(conventional diabetes care)and the observation group(systematic diabetes care),50 cases in each group,in accordance with the different order of the time of enrollment.The nursing effects of the two groups were com-pared.Results The blood glucose of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The excellent rate of incision healing quality in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For colorectal can-cer combined with type 2 diabetes mellitus patients undergoing surgery,systematic diabetes care can improve the quality of incision healing and reasonably control the blood glucose level.
