Objective To investigate the effect of the application of holistic nursing program intervention in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis. Methods 90 cases of diabetic ketoacidosis patients admitted to Dongguan Shipai Hospital from April 2020 to April 2023 were selected as the research object and divided into the control group and the observa-tion group by random number table method, each with 45 cases. The patients in the control group implemented the conventional nursing mode, and the patients in the observation group implemented the overall nursing degree interven-tion mode.Compared the blood glucose level and quality of life of patients in the two groups. Results The fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose, and glycosylated hemoglobin levels of patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The quality of life scores of the observation group were all significantly lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of holistic nursing program in-tervention model in diabetic ketoacidosis patients can significantly improve the blood glucose level and improve the quality of life.
