Objective To investigate the effect of structured education combined with standardized diet used in the health management of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.Methods 80 cases of diabetic patients admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Yancheng City from January 2021 to April 2023 were selected as the study objects,and the pa-tients were divided into the observation group(40 cases)and the control group(40 cases)in accordance with the double-blind method using the principle of 1∶1 allocation;the control group adopted conventional nursing care,and the observation group adopted structured education + standardized diet on this basis.Compared the nursing interven-tion effects of the two groups.Results The blood glucose indexes and self-efficacy scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The combined effect of structured education and standardized diet on patients with type 2 diabetes melli-tus is remarkable,which can control the patients'blood glucose level and improve their self-management ability.
