Objective To explore the significance of perioperative nursing for diabetic retinopathy after vitrectomy sur-gery.Methods A total of 70 patients with diabetic retinopathy who underwent vitrectomy in Yixing People's Hospital from January 2018 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into control group and obser-vation group according to random number table method,with 35 cases in each group.The control group received rou-tine perioperative nursing,and the observation group received perioperative quality nursing.The comfort scores before and after nursing,perioperative complications and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results Before nursing,there was no significant difference in comfort scores between the two groups(all P>0.05).Af-ter nursing,the comfort score of observation group was higher than that of control group,the difference was statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).The complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the nursing satisfaction was higher than that of the control group,the difference were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of perioperative nursing can significantly improve the comfort of patients treated with vitrectomy for diabetic retinopathy,with higher safety and patient satisfaction.
