Objective To explore the efficacy of the application of compound Xueshuantong tablets combined with Shenqi Jiangtang granules in the clinical treatment of diabetic nephropathy.Methods A total of 86 diabetic nephropa-thy patients admitted to Yongan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2020 to October 2022 were se-lected as the study objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into observation group(Compound Xuesuantong Tablet combined with Shenqi Jiangtang Granules + conventional treatment)and control group(conventional treatment),with 43 cases in each group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups of patients were compared.Results The effective rate of observation group(93.02%)was higher than that of control group(76.74%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and the level of glycosylated hemoglobin in observation group were lower than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Serum creatinine and urea nitrogen levels in observation group were lower than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The lev-els of hypersensitive C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor-α in observation group were lower than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The scores of traditional Chinese medi-cine syndrome such as edema,fatigue and weakness,waist and knee weakness in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The com-bined application of compound Xueshuantong tablets and Shenqi Jiangtang granules has good efficacy in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.
