Objective To analyze the application value of neutral color Doppler ultrasonography in diagnosis of lower extremity arterial disease in diabetic foot patients. Methods A total of 90 patients with diabetic foot admitted to Linyi Geriatric Hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the classification criteria of diabetic foot, they were divided into gangrene group(n=42)and non-gangrene group(n=48).Color Doppler ultrasound was provided for diagnosis, and the application value of color Doppler ultrasound was evaluated. Results The diameters of left and right lower extremity arteries(femoral artery, superficial femoral artery, deep femoral artery, posterior tibial artery, popliteal artery, dorsalis pedis artery)in the gangrene group were smaller than those in the non-gangrene group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The femoral artery blood flow param-eters(end-diastolic blood flow velocity, peak systolic blood flow velocity, pulsatility index, and resistance index)and popliteal artery blood flow parameters(end-diastolic blood flow velocity, peak systolic blood flow velocity, pulsatility index, and resistance index)in the gangrene group were significantly lower than those in the non-gangrene group(all P<0.05).Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasonography has high clinical application value in the clinical diagnosis of dia-betic foot, which can provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment, and is worth to be used and popularized.
