Objective To investigate the effect of insulin aspartate combined with metformin in the treatment of Gesta-tional Diabetes(GDM).Methods A total of 60 GDM patients admitted to the Department of Obstetrics of Longyan First Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected and divided into observation group and control group by random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.They all had routine intervention,the control group was treated with insulin aspartate on this basis,and the observation group was treated with metformin on the basis of con-trol group.The changes of blood glucose,adipokine and inflammatory response indexes were compared among all groups.Results After 1 month of treatment,the levels of fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose,total cholesterol,triglyceride,low density lipoprotein cholesterol,C-reactive protein,interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis fac-tor-α in both groups were lower than before treatment,and the observation group was lower than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After 1 month of treatment,the high density lipoprotein choles-terol in both groups was higher than that before treatment,and the observation group was higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of insulin aspartate combined with metformin in the treatment of GDM can reduce blood glucose level,regulate blood lipids and alleviate inflamma-tion.
