Objective To analyze the efficacy of clinical comprehensive treatment methods for gestational diabetes. Methods From April 2020 to December 2022,222 patients with gestational diabetes admitted to Zhangzhou Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly selected as the study objects and were divided into a refer-ence group and an observation group using the random number table method, with 111 cases in each group. The con-trol group received conventional drug treatment, while the observation group received insulin injection treatment and comprehensive treatment such as diet treatment and exercise treatment. The improvement of blood sugar indicators, maternal delivery and pregnancy outcomes, and neonatal pregnancy outcomes were compared between the two groups of patients. Results The observation group showed significant improvements in fasting plasma glucose(FPG),postpran-dial plasma glucose at 2 hours(2 hPG),and glycated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)compared to before treatment, with a greater decrease than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The natural de-livery rate of the observation group(82.88%)was higher than that of the control group(61.26%),and the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage(1.80%)was lower than that of the control group(8.11%),and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The incidence of adverse neonatal pregnancy outcomes in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive treatment for patients with gestational diabetes can effectively improve the patient's pregnancy outcome. The effect is obvious, blood sugar is well controlled, and the health and safety of mother and baby are ensured.
