Objective To explore the diagnostic value of routine urine test and biochemical test in diabetes. Methods 100 patients with suspected diabetes admitted to Nanping Maternal and Child Health Hospital from October 2021 to October 2022 were selected as observation objects. With physical examination, symptom observation, glucose toler-ance test results and guidelines as the diagnostic gold standard, the diagnostic value of routine urine test and bio-chemical test in the diagnosis of diabetes were compared. Results The gold standard confirmed 80 cases of diabetes and 20 cases of non-diabetes.The diagnostic accuracy and sensitivity of biochemical test were higher than that of con-ventional urine test, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with the con-ventional urine test, the diagnosis of diabetes by biochemical test has higher technical accuracy and sensitivity, which is an effective scheme for the diagnosis of such chronic diseases.
