Objective To analyze the role of glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c)and urine microalbumin(mALB)testing in patients with diabetic nephropathy. Methods A total of 150 patients with diabetic nephropathy admitted to the Clini-cal Laboratory of Shidao People's Hospital of Rongcheng City from January to December 2022 were selected as the study group.During the same period,150 healthy examinees who went to the hospital for physical examination were selected as the routine group. All subjects were tested by HbA1c and mALB.The diagnostic results and efficacy of HbA1c and mALB combined test and single test were analyzed. Results The levels of HbA1c and mALB in the study group were significantly higher than those in the conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The positive rate of combined diagnosis was higher than that of any single diagnosis, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The diagnostic efficacy of combined diagnosis was better than that of any single examination, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The combined test of HbA1c and mALB in the diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy has a higher positive rate and a higher diagnostic efficacy.
