Effect of Dapagliflozin on Patients with Unstable Angina Pectoris Compli-cated with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus after Coronary Intervention and on Glucose and Lipid Metabolism Indexes
Objective To investigate the effect of dapagliflozin on unstable angina pectoris complicated with type 2 diabetes after coronary intervention and its effects on glucose and lipid metabolism.Methods 70 patients with un-stable angina combined with type 2 diabetes mellitus admitted to the Department of Cardiology Ⅰ of Dongying Hospi-tal of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to May 2021 were selected as the study objects and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the method of random number table,with 35 cases in each group.Both groups of patients were treated with basic treatment such as antiplatelet and anticoagulation.The control group was treated with metformin,and the observation group was treated with dapagliflozin tablets on the basis of the treat-ment of the control group.Compared the glycemic and lipid metabolism indexes and glycemic control efficacy rate of the two groups.Results After treatment,the levels of glycosylated hemoglobin,fasting plasma glucose,2-hour post-prandial plasma glucose,total cholesterol and triacylglycerol in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total effective rate of glycemic control in the control group was lower than that in the observation group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Dagliflozin may have multiple therapeutic benefits in patients with unstable angina combined with type 2 diabetes mellitus,significantly improving patients'glucose and lipid metabolism levels,lowering patients'blood glucose,and enhancing patients'glycemic control efficacy.
