Study on the Effect of Modified Liujunzi Decoction on Improving Blood Glucose Levels in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus Due to Spleen Deficiency and Dampness Syndrome
Objective To explore the effect of modified Liujunzi Decoction on improving blood glucose levels in pa-tients with diabetes mellitus due to spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome.Methods A total of 70 patients with diabetes mellitus of spleen deficiency and dampness who were admitted to Zhangqiu District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Ji'nan from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the ran-dom number table method,they were divided into two groups,with 35 cases in each group.The control group was treated with recombinant insulin glargine combined with metformin,and the observation group was treated with Jiawei Liujunzi decoction on the basis of the treatment plan of the control group.The blood glucose level and the total effec-tive rate of treatment were compared before and after the treatment.Results Before treatment,there were no statisti-cally significant differences in fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin levels between the two groups(all P>0.05).After treatment,the levels of fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The treatment effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Modified Liujunzi De-coction can effectively improve blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus due to spleen deficiency and dampness.
