Objective To explore the clinical effect of comprehensive nursing for diabetic patients on the prevention the occurrence of complications. Methods A total of 90 diabetic patients admitted to Linyi Rehabilitation Hospital of Shandong Province from September 2021 to September 2022 were randomly selected as the research subjects.Accord-ing to the random number table method, the patients were divided into the reference group receiving general nursing and the observation group receiving comprehensive nursing, with 45 cases in each group. The blood glucose index, quality of life score, complication rate and nursing satisfaction rate were compared between the two groups before and after nursing. Results After nursing, the fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose, and glycated hemo-globin indicators of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).The quality of life score of the observation group was lower than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, the incidence of complications in the ob-servation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of patients in the observation group with nursing care was higher than that in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of comprehensive nursing mode in diabetic patients can effectively prevent the occurrence of complications and reduce the blood glucose level of pa-tients,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
