Objective To evaluate the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on improving blood glucose and depressive mood in patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods A total of 72 patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to Linyi Mental Health Center from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into two groups according to coin method,with 36 cases in each group.The general group provided traditional nursing and the comprehensive group provided comprehensive nursing intervention,and the nursing effects of the two groups were compared.Results After nursing,the fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and glycated hemoglo-bin in the comprehensive group were lower than those in the general group,and the frequency of hypoglycemia and the time of blood glucose compliance in the comprehensive group were lower than those in the general group,the dif-ferences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After nursing,the scores of Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Self-Rating Depression Scale in the comprehensive group were lower than those in the general group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in comprehensive group was lower than that in general group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of compre-hensive nursing intervention in patients with type 2 diabetes can improve the effect of blood glucose control and re-duce depression.
