Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of rapid recovery nursing in perioperative care for cesarean sec-tion in pregnant women with gestational diabetes. Methods A total of 68 patients with gestational diabetes admitted to the obstetrics department of Qingyang People's Hospital from January 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the re-search objects, all the patients were performed by cesarean section. They were divided into research group and control group by lottery,34 cases each group, rapid rehabilitation nursing and routine nursing were implemented respectively. The blood glucose index, postoperative incision infection rate and satisfaction were compared between the two groups of patients. Results After nursing, the blood glucose index of both groups was lower than that before nursing, and the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The post-operative incision infection rate in the study group(2.94%)was lower than the control group(20.59%),and the differ-ence was statistically significant(χ2=5.100,P=0.024).The satisfaction was higher than the control group, and the dif-ference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Rapid recovery nursing has positive significance in reducing the rate of postoperative incision infection, can help patients improve blood glucose indicators, and can meet patients'reasonable nursing needs.
