Objective To observe the application value of three nerve electrophysiological examinations in the diagno-sis of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methods A total of 100 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy admitted to the electroencephalogram Room of Wuzhou Workers Hospital from April 2021 to March 2022 were selected for retro-spective analysis.According to their symptoms, they were divided into symptomatic group(n=59)and asymptomatic group(n=41).According to the degree of symptoms, the patients in the symptomatic group were divided into mild(mild clinical symptoms),moderate(obvious clinical symptoms)and severe(obvious clinical symptoms and severe functional impairment),with 21 cases,25 cases and 13 cases, respectively.Motor nerve conduction velocity(MCV),sensory nerve conduction velocity(SCV)and sympathetic skin response(SSR)were performed in both groups. The re-sults of three kinds of nerve electrophysiological examination were statistically analyzed. Results The MCV(47.20±12.36)m/s,SCV(42.30±8.58)m/s and SSR(0.77±0.59)mV in the of symptomatic group.were lower than those group in the asymptomatic(69.14±14.26)m/s,(53.22±7.36)m/s and(1.34±0.46)mV,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There were significant differences in the levels of neuroelectrophysiological indexes in pa-tients with different degrees of lesions(P<0.05).With the aggravation of lesions, the MCV,SCV and SSR of patients showed a downward trend, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion As the degree of peripheral neuropathy in diabetic patients worsens, the lower the neuroelectrophysiological indicators become. It can be seen that MCV,SCV,and SSR have high value in the diagnosis of diabetic peripheral neuropathy and its severity.
