Objective To explore the clinical value of individualized dietary guidance in the treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods A total of 85 GDM patients who received treatment in Quanzhou First Hospital at Fujian Province from June 2021 to June 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects, and they were divided into reference group(conventional treatment,n=43)and observation group(conventional treatment combined with individu-alized dietary guidance,n=42)according to random number table method. The clinical application value of different treatment methods were observed. Results The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the observation group(4.76%)was lower than that in the control group(18.60%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.922,P<0.05).The levels of fasting plasma glucose,2 hour postload plasma glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c of observa-tion group were lower than those of reference group after treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(t= 2.581,2.700,3.003,all P<0.05).Nutritional Risk Screening 2002(NRS2002)scores of the observation group were lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=10.562,P<0.05).Conclusion In-dividualized dietary guidance can improve pregnancy outcome, blood glucose level and nutritional status of GDM pa-tients.
