Influence of Individualized Nutrition Therapy on Blood Glucose and Blood Pressure in Elderly Patients with Diabetes Mellitus Complicated with Hy-pertension
Objective To explore the effect of individualized nutrition therapy on blood glucose and blood pressure in elderly patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with hypertension.Methods The clinical data of 80 elderly pa-tients with diabetes mellitus complicated with hypertension randomly selected from Anxi County Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were retrospectively selected.They were divided into two groups according to treatment methods:control group(conventional treatment)and study group(conventional treatment combined with individualized nutrition treatment),with 40 cases in each group.The application value of individualized nutrition therapy were observed.Results Compared with the control group,the fasting plasma glucose(6.01±0.31)mmol/L,two-hour postload plasma glucose(7.54±1.54)mmol/L and glycated hemoglobin A1c(6.52±0.34)%of the study group after treatment were all lower,the differences were statistically significant(t=2.505,2.421,3.183,all P<0.05).The blood pressure levels of the study group after treatment was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(both P<0.05).The nutritional indexes of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was sta-tistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The blood glucose,blood pressure and nutrition level of elderly patients with diabetes combined with hypertension were significantly improved by selecting individualized nutrition therapy.
