Objective To analyze the clinical effect of metformin combined with damecon in patients with type 2 dia-betes.Methods A total of 90 patients with type 2 diabetes treated in Hedong Hospital of Linyi from December 2021 to December 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects,and were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method,with 45 patients in each group.The control group was treated with metformin alone,and the observation group was added with gliclazede on the basis of the control group,and the clinical effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results After treatment,fasting and postprandial blood glucose levels and glycated hemoglobin in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the total effective rate of treatment was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the score of life quality was higher,and the differ-ence was statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of metformin in combination with gli-clazede in the treatment of type 2 diabetes patients can further improve the therapeutic effect,ensure that the blood sugar level of patients is controlled in the best range,reduce the harm of the disease,and improve the quality of life of patients.
