Objective To explore the influence of whole-course midwifery nursing for diabetic parturients. Methods A total of 110 diabetic women who were admitted to Linyi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from September 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into midwifery group and comparison group by computer method, with 55 cases in each group. The midwifery group received whole-course midwifery nurs-ing,while the comparison group received routine midwifery nursing.Blood glucose indexes, delivery indexes, and inci-dence of maternal and infant complications were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in blood glucose indexes between the two groups before nursing(P>0.05).After nursing, the blood glucose indexes of the two groups decreased compared to before nursing, and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).After nursing, the blood glucose indexes in the midwifery group were lower than those in the com-parison group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The bleeding volume of the midwifery group was lower than that of the comparison group, and the result of total labor process was shorter than that of the compari-son group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the mid-wifery group was lower than that in the comparison group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of neonatal complications in the midwifery group was lower than that in the comparison group, and the dif-ference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion After the implementation of the whole-course of midwifery nursing,it can ensure the safety of mother and child, control the amount of labor bleeding, shorten the labor process, improve the quality of labor.
