Objective To explore the effect of applying the knowledge and action mode in the nursing of diabetic foot patients.Methods A total of 96 patients with diabetic foot admitted to Danyang Maternal and Child Health Care Hos-pital from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into two groups by ran-dom number table method,with 48 cases each group.The control group adopted the routine nursing mode,and the ob-servation group adopted the knowledge and action mode.Self-management ability and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results Before intervention,the self-management scores of the two groups were compared,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);after intervention,the self-management score of observa-tion group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compari-son of quality of life scores between the two groups before intervention,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);after intervention,the quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Knowledge and action nursing mode for diabetic foot patients can enhance self-management ability and improve quality of life.
