Objective To explore and analyze the changes and clinical significance of thromboelastogram indexes in different periods of type 2 diabetic retinopathy. Methods A total of 86 patients with type 2 diabetes diagnosed and treated in Changzhou Fourth People's Hospital from January 2019 to December 2023 were selected as the study ob-jects.According to the severity of DR,they were divided into non-retinopathy group(NDR group,28 cases),non-proliferative stage group(NPDR group,29 cases)and proliferative stage group(PDR group,29 cases). The changes and clinical significance of thromboelastogram indexes in different periods were analyzed. Results R value and K value were compared among three groups,NDR group>NPDR group>PDR group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).MA value were compared among three groups,NDR group<NPDR group<PDR group, and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).The Angle values of NDR group,NPDR group and PDR group were(67.34±2.32),(68.90±2.43)and(70.20±2.14)Deg,respectively,there was statistically significant differ-ence in the comparison between NDR group and NPDR group,NDR group and PDR group,NPDR group and PDR group(t=2.501,2.477,2.163,all P<0.05).Conclusion The changes and clinical significance of various thromboelas-ticity indexes in patients with type 2 diabetic retinopathy at different periods vary. With the increase of DR Severity, the lower the R value and K value, and the higher the MA value and Angle value, which have certain reference value for the diagnosis of type 2 diabetic retinopathy.
